I brought Pontypridd RFC down on Saturday for a pre season beasting and Chris and the boys put on an excellent session. Very hard work but more importantly very professional and totally relevant to the modern game at premiership level!
I can recommend a trip to Force S & C for any team at any level of the game – both football and rugby teams would benefit from this high intensity training. They have structured it to allow sportsmen of all fitness levels to be challenged – I am a year shy of my 40th and managed to join in with the boys – some of who are really really fit – everyone was challenged. Excellent facility, excellent motivation and very professional – cheers boys – we will be back soon.

Intense, challenging, fun! These are just some of the words used by the Swansea University varsity side after completing a tough session at force in April 2012. The side came to Force in prep for the annual varsity match against Cardiff. The players thoroughly enjoyed the session which was run by Chris and Andrew at a high intensity through a vast range of exercises, all specific to the sport of rugby. What a fantastic environment to provide coaching, information and support for strength and conditioning from the athlete to the everyday gym goer. I would thoroughly recommend a visit to Force especially in a team environment as not only do you get quality physical conditioning but also a great character building activity.”

Cowbridge RFC have visiting the Force gym as individuals and as a team since its launch last year. Individually you can see the benefits but as a team the reward has been far greater. It has as a team encouraged them to build on their fitness, challenge each other and more so the mental strength to pull through together when the going gets tough. The instructors are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and this can be felt in a friendly challenging ambience. Pop along and have a look for yourselves.

“After a poor start to the Rugby Season 2011/12, we approached Chris and Andrew at Force Strength & Conditioning to see if their training philosophy and environment could kick start our season.
Between us we decided to introduce midweek and Saturday morning ‘Blood Sweat & Tyres’ Team Sessions. The nature of the sessions are no-nonsense all action work-outs something that our players relished and responded to. The Blood, Sweat & Tyres sessions not only improved and enhanced our fitness levels, it helped create a bond and team spirit amongst the players which is essential in any Team Sport. Prior to the sessions our record was Won 1 Lost 11, after enrolling in Blood Sweat & Tyres our record was Won 8 Drew 1 and Lost only 3 and an unrecognisably fitter squad of players. I’m not saying that Force Strength & Conditioning was the only reason for our dramatic turnaround in results, but it was most certainly an essential ingredient and a relationship we will look to continue and build on for the future.”
