Chris has a real passion for fitness, and with over 16 years of experience in the industry, he has the knowledge to help people really reach their true potential. Your goals are his goals.
Having played rugby to a semi-professional level, Chris retired and went into coaching, where he put all of his knowledge to good use as Strength and Conditioning coach for Beddau RFC, where he remained for four seasons.
After gaining a degree in Sports Science, Chris earned his membership in the Register of Exercise Professionals as a Personal Trainer and has since worked with a wide range of people from G.P Referrals to Elite Level Athletes.
You may also have seen some of his work when he featured as a Personal Trainer on Sky1’s weight loss show ‘Fat Families’, where he helped the Turner Family lose the most weight in the show’s history!
Chris has an extensive knowledge of fat loss, strength and conditioning, weight management, postural correction, and he’s also British Weightlifting qualified, as well as a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Andrew Joy (Director & Co-Founder)
With over 11 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge with him to train clients. He is an advanced fitness instructor, a Level 3 personal trainer with weight management and nutrition, a GP Referral Consultant, and he’s also British Weightlifting qualified.
A former professional rugby player with Bridgend and then Celtic warriors, Andrew pursued his passion for health and fitness while still playing for Swansea RFC.
During his time working as a GP Referral Consultant, Andrew has built up a huge amount of experience for when it comes to helping clients with various conditions and levels of fitness, so he knows exactly how to help them improve their health and overall quality of life.
Kieron Prosser (Head Trainer)
Keiron has over 8 years experience in the health and fitness industry. Having obtained his Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification, Level 3 Personal Trainer, British weightlifting certificate, NSCA Strength & Conditioning Specialist, First Class Degree in Sports & Exercise Science and is currently studying his Masters in the same field.
Keiron also has a vast array of experience working as a sport science intern with the Ospreys, a performance analysis for the WRU and carried out athlete monitoring with Cardiff Blues and Welsh Golf. He has also been fortunate enough to undergo a scholarship for Wigan Rugby league at a young age which further lead him to representing his country for Wales in Rugby League.
Keirons passion is in helping people. He thrives on the opportunity to help individuals improve their sporting performance, body composition, postural issues, imbalances or general well being.
Matt Jones (Coach)
Matt has over 5 years experience in the Health & Fitness Industry, working with a huge variety of clients which involve various body imbalances, body compositions and ages. This ensures he caters and has the knowledge to care for people's needs & goals.
Matt also has over 8 years experience in football coaching, with ages ranging from junior to youth level.
He also spent 4 months in New York, working within a high development Sports Camp, Coaching and developing a number of different Sports such as Athletics, Basketball, American Football, Baseball and Badminton.
Matt has a real passion for helping people reach their true potential and any goals they may have.
He is a firm believer in improving people's physical and mental wellbeing through efficient exercise, balanced with good energy and a positive outlook on life in general.
Ryan Speight (Coach)
In 2019, Ryan graduated from Cardiff Met with a distinction in Strength and Conditioning (masters)
Ryan has obtained his; Level 3 personal trainer qualification
Jack Spillets (Coach)
Jack’s interest and passion for strength and conditioning began during his first year of study towards a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science at Swansea University. It was also during this time that he began as Lead Strength and Conditioning for Swansea City Ladies FC, on a voluntary basis. During his time with them Jack has helped to raise the team’s physical capabilities, both on the field and in the weight room, as well as helping many a player return to play following injuries.
Jack has recently graduated from Saint Mary’s University with an MSc in Strength and Conditioning and is working towards achieving accreditation from the UK Strength and Conditioning Association. This period of education gave Jack the opportunity to further expand his coaching knowledge and experiences.
Jack is looking forward to putting his knowledge and experiences to good use and strives to support as many members at Force as possible in achieving their goals.
